1st Trip to Lake Powell For the Year

Kris and I were able to take a much needed vactation and head to one of our favorite spots Lake Powell. My family really pitched in and helped out with the kids and made the trip so nice. I told Kris when we got married that we needed to take a trip each year with just the two of us. This was our trip for the year. We loved spending time with each other and the weather was amazing and the water was so calm. It was awesome to just be there the two of us. We got to do all kinds of reading and talking, we went to one of our new favortie places to eat the Dam Bar and Grill (we went with Kris's parents last year and it will definitely become one of the once per trip kind of places. I also saw a coyote for the first time ever and was kind of taken back by it. At first I thought it was just an abandoned dog and pointed out to Kris how I really don't like dogs but that is just cruel to dump a dog off. There wasn't a sole around and the dog was so skiny and the closer we got to it the Kris realized that it was a coyote. We were in the boat and kind of far away. I know none of these pictures are great, they were all taken with my phone so oh well. I think I was REALLY relaxed because I didn't pull out eather of my cameras once. It was just so fun to be with such an amazing man with NO distractions. Man I love that guy and am so glad that he picked me!

Rosander 2010 Hawaii Trip.

We just returned form our Rosander (Adult) Family trip.
The first trip was a few months after Kris and I were married and every other year we return to Kauaii for our bi anual adult trip. It seems that we gain a new participant each year, and being as we are all married now this is the complete group.
I do love kauaii, it's so amazing there the water looks so blue and amazing, the sky seems so clear and vibrent, the sun (expecialy where there is snow on the ground at home) is amazing. We did all kind of fun things.
Queens bath. This is so cool. There is kind of swimming hole if you will in the rocks just off the shore where the ocane comes in and out, It was way more full the last time we were there and the tide was coming in and out so you would have to time your jumps just right. But it's a really cool swimming hole.

One of the new attractions this year was the rope swing that Amy and Benn found. So cool! It was this fresh water swimming hole and there was this guy there diving when we got there and he made it seem so effortless and so graceful. The swing was a hit. I was trying to be so careful and cross this river thing on top (holding my camera!) the reason for being so careful and I think that made it that much worse and I ended up going for an unexpedted river dip! Sweet. Add another graceful moment to the many I have and I think when I die I will win the $10,000 in the afterlife funniest life vidieos... Yep that's me!

My huney!
How cute is he? He was totally goofing off and playing with I was shooting around but how cute is he? Even if he is kidding around. Man I love him. I was so happy to be with him in this amazing place... I mean look at him? I love you hun!
We also went on an amazing catamaran excursion (probably my favorite!) So much fun! Loved it. I don't have any pics of that right now, I need to get them form my sister in law. I was thinking that this would be our ship, not so much it looked a lot like this one though. Oh it was so much fun!

We hit some of our favortie beaches, Secret beach, Barking sands, Ship wrecked (Kris and I skipped that day due to extensive sun the previeous day... two little lobsters).

K, I know how cute is my necklace right? My talented friend! On top of all of the activities we ate like kings and queens! I think we had hulla pie 3 times, and it was just as good the last time as it was the first time. My favorites seem to always be the same. I love Dukes (the atmosphere is just as great as the food.) I love the live band playing Jack Johnson, the overlooking the beach and feeling the ocean and feeling the breez and hearing the waves. My other top place to eat is Pooka Dog! OH my favorite. I love it! K so I'm probably one of the few that like hot dogs, Not all the time, but I had a Pooka Dog last time we were there and I had to have another one while we were there this time! So good!

What a week! Thanks to Kris and Becky for taking us all. HUGE thanks to my mom and dad and all of my sisters who pitched in and helped out with our kids. I know that you all have a lot going on and we put my kids in the middle of all you are trying to get wrapped up and off to Japan. Thanks. I promise I wont send my kids to you next mothers day!

My Funny Girls

My girls were both in desperate need of new shoes for everyday and for sunday. I had been all over the city looking for something that would work and wouldn't cost me a pretty penny. I couldn't find anything that would work for what I needed and so our last stop was Nordstroms and my girls had both had it. Stella loves shoes and once we tryed on a pair that we could both come to terms with she wouldn't take them off, when the cute lady that was helping us told Stella that she would put them in her own bag. Stella found those terms agreeabe and was thrilled with the idea of walking by herself and not having to ride in the stroler and to carry her own bag... wow! she was in heaven. Molly was just as thrilled to have her shoes in her own bag. They were loving every minute of it.

You would think that this 3 year old was actually in her 20's. She is so funny in her speach and mannerisms. She loves to come across more grown up. Here she is waiting for her turn at swim lessons.
Here is a fun day with friends. A lunch much needed for the girls and me. I didn't get London and Molly but caugh this sweet shot of Stell and Cam. What cute kids. Thanks for an awesome and much needed day! And Yes I'm totally letting Stell run around McDonalds with no shoes and socks, I know totally sick! What do you do?

Molly At School.

Here are Molly's school Pictures... I have loved Molly's teachers and the kids in her class, not to mention the parents. I will miss seeing those people. Molly has a funny face in this picture. She cracks me up.

Molly's Art Projects From School.

This was a cute little house that Molly made at school when learning about home and what we do there. Do you love the trampoline inside the house? We don't even have a trampoline outside. There is also a cute little sleeping girl under the covers on the lower right. I love that she wrote her name all by herself. She is so cute and has loved school.
This was a painting that Molly did in class (oviously a foot painting) What a fun thing. I would love to have seen her paint with her feet. She has never really liked getting dirty and when she does, she likes to be cleaned up quickly. I love those little feet. So cute.
